TREASURER • Assists secretary by ensuring membership returns made to Archery GB, WAA and GAA and association fees paid. • Responsible for getting new members to complete membership forms Advises committee on affordability of proposals Approves grant applications Ensures all receipts banked and correctly recorded Prepares annual accounts and presents to AGM Assistant treasurer • Collects shooting fees and other receipts when Treasurer absent • Banks all cash and cheques received • Checks honesty jar and banks surplus cash
CHILD PROTECTION OFFICER (CPO)
Ensures Safeguarding policy of Archery GB adhered to Takes action on concerns • Undertakes CPO duties in absence of CPO • Ensures First Aid box available at all club shoots
RECORDS OFFICER Club Captain Keeps a record of all scores submitted by members Maintains the club “records book” - best scores in all disciplines Calculates classifications and awards badges Maintains members’ handicap records • Encourages members to take part in Open competitions • Organises club’s indoor and outdoor championships • Organises monthly handicapped shoots • Organises entry to postal competitions • Encourages participation in postal competitions • Custody and engraving of club trophies • Organises Have -a-go and school events
EQUIPMENT OFFICER Ensures shooting line and distance markers maintained Maintains club’s bows and beginners equipment Maintains bosses and target stands ensuring they are safe Orders replacement bosses and faces Maintains HaG equipment separate to beginners equipment Deputy Equipment Officer • Assists Equipment Officer • Arranges working parties eg equipment repairs • Arranges transport of bosses at season change
JUNIOR CLUB REPRESENTATIVE Represents the interests of the Junior Club on the committee Organises events for juniors

Work party members • Take part in ad hoc work parties eg make repairs to hut, repair bosses, trim trees.
Every senior member is asked to consider what roles or tasks they could cover for the club. It would be helpful if they could tell a committee member what they are prepared to do for the club before the AGM if they are not attending. Volunteers will be called for at the AGM.
